TESTIMONIALS for Taylor Bicycles

It's great to hear from our customers.  This is a new webpage so email us your thoughts on your new Taylor bike and I'll add them as they come in.  If you have a few photos, that would be nice, too.  I hope to add a customer photo page at some point down the road. (Being a one man shop has it's limitations as my website sometimes doesn't get the attention it deserves.  C'est la vie, Paul).

"I love my new Taylor road bike!  It fits perfectly, rides like a dream, and is beautiful.  Steel is so smooth on the road compared to an all carbon fiber frame.  Even though it's early in the season, and I'm a long way from being in top form, I can ride longer than ever before without fatigue, stiffness in my back, or numbness in my hands.  I'm convinced that a custom-fitted steel frame allows me to ride longer without the typical discomfort I used to get on my carbon bike.  And, the bike is light and fast, too.  I am looking forward to an awesome summer on the road.  Thank you, Paul, for your attention to detail and craftsmanship!"  Doug in Bozeman, Montana

"Over the past 4 years I have purchased three frames from Paul Taylor. His greatest strength as a framebuilder is his flexibility. My riding varies and Paul's work for me has run the gamut from a traditional lugged cross frame to a fillet brazed, stainless steel sloping top tube road race frame to an MTB repaint. Paul has been able to recreate my ideas for bikes and even given me a few ideas for future projects."   Steve

"Rode the new nobium spirit bike both days this weekend. It fits like a glove, is much lighter than I expected and most importantly the ride quality exceeded my dreams. Very lively yet stiff and responsive. Apart from the many compliments on the paint scheme that you did I want to thank you for turning it around so quickly. As a 200lb tall rider it makes so much difference to ride a well fitted bike that is built by someone that understands that a persons build should not compromise the ride of a new custom bike. Also the Enve fork and new Campy 11 set up make this one fast light bike."   Peter

"Awhile ago I purchased a Taylor (my second) off of craigslist from a neighbor of yours.  I believe you had originally built the bike for your step-daughter, a junior racer.  I just got some of the new road wheels that Industry Nine is now making, and it looks so good (as well as rides like a dream) that I just had to share. Thanks for building such awesome rides!"    Lyn

"The bike is built. I love it to death. I love the upright position, it opens up the hip angle and I feel stronger on it as well. It also makes the drops functional. I hardly ever rode in the drops. Maybe total of about 1 min in a year. Now the drops are slightly lower than riding on the hoods of a bike with regular geometry. I don't see why anyone over 50 doesn't ride one of these!! Also, I did a 5 hr ride on it and never had my fingers go numb once. I use to have to shake my hands out every 20 minutes to get the feeling back. "    Darrell
